Da Opera Opens New Gallery Bridging Art and Market in Milan's Navigli District

A new gallery called Da Opera has opened at via Mario Pichi 9 in Milan's Navigli district, aiming to connect the art world with the market. Founded by Erika Grupillo and Federica Ciuci Priori, who started the Opera Illustration agency in 2019, the space serves as both the agency's operational headquarters and a venue for exhibitions, workshops, art lessons, and talks. The gallery showcases a variety of media including sculpture, illustration, painting, ceramics, and design objects. Represented artists include Aire (Costa Rica), Cecilia Castelli (Italy), Cinzia Zenocchini (Italy), and Gustaf Von Arbin (Sweden), who work primarily in painting and illustration with a focus on figurative art and the human figure. The initiative is described as a 'bridge between collectors and creatives, brands and gallerists,' and a democratic tool for incorporating illustration into communication and marketing. The gallery was inaugurated on November 29.
