DA BUREAU's Inflated Orange Volumes Define IYKYK Smash Burger in Yerevan
In 2024, DA BUREAU finalized the interior design and visual branding for IYKYK, the inaugural smash burger establishment in Yerevan. Spanning 100 square meters, this project incorporates a flexible architectural framework for potential future branches, drawing inspiration from 1980s American street culture with its modular shapes and nostalgic visuals. A prominent service counter, reminiscent of Los Angeles food trucks, extends to the exterior. Unique features comprise an LED menu board, a merchandise display, an illuminated sign for the terrace, and a well-appointed restroom. The counter is constructed with a structural frame, a core of high-density expanded polystyrene, and an orange fiberglass shell. The design team, spearheaded by Boris Lvovsky, Fedor Goreglyad, Anna Lvovskaia, and Maria Romanova, includes project management by Daria Belova and visualization by Irina Oleynikova, with Sona Manukyan capturing the space in photographs.
