D4vd's Apple Music page hacked with 'I Did It' track amid murder charges

The Apple Music account of American artist D4vd (David Anthony Burke) was compromised, resulting in the addition of a track titled 'I Did It,' which features an image of an abandoned Tesla, the location where 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez's body was discovered in September 2025. This new song bears similarities to an unreleased track named 'Celeste,' recorded in 2023, with lyrics that convey affection for Celeste. Although it leaked online in December 2023, it was never officially published. Burke has denied allegations of murder and sexual abuse. The song has since been taken down. In another incident, a song containing a racial slur appeared on the pages of Ariana Grande and Katseye. The rise of fake songs on streaming services has prompted Sony Music to request the removal of over 135,000 impersonation tracks. Following the discovery of the body, D4vd's tour was canceled, and he was arrested in April. A judge is set to determine trial proceedings after preliminary hearings this week.
