D Lan Galleries Presents Significant 2026: Australian First Nations Art Across Three Cities
D Lan Galleries will present 'Significant 2026', an important exhibition showcasing Australian First Nations art, running from May 14 to June 27, 2026, across Melbourne, Sydney, and New York. This remarkable collection features nearly sixty high-quality pieces, curated over fifteen years by architect Carey Lyon and psychologist Jo Crosby. Proceeds from the exhibition will fund a new philanthropic initiative focused on architecture and design. Among the standout pieces are ten early Papunya artworks from 1971-72 by artists like Kaapa Mbitjana Tjampitjinpa and Johnny Warangula Tjupurrula, a major installation of forty-five works by Nyapanyapa Yunupiŋu, and historic pieces from notable artists including Rover Thomas and Emily Kam Kngwarray.
