Czinger Unveils 21C Spyder, Its First Open-Top Hypercar

Czinger introduced its inaugural open-top vehicle, the 21C Spyder, during Monterey Car Week, featuring a detachable roof. The car's carbon-fiber exterior produces 3,267 pounds of downforce at 150 mph without the roof and 3,307 pounds with it. Weighing in at 3,571 pounds dry, the interior boasts a two-seat configuration and a cutting-edge 'NeuralNode' dashboard, developed in collaboration with Divergent Technologies, which combines a digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. It retains a powertrain consisting of a 2.88-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 paired with two electric motors, generating 1,250 hp. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.9 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 205 mph. Czinger is accepting orders for 30 units priced at $2.75 million each.
