Cypress, Eternally Unbound Group Exhibition at Canvas

Canvas presents 'Cypress, Eternally Unbound', a group exhibition curated by Shahed Saffari featuring Iranian artists exploring the cypress tree as a symbol of resilience and hope. The show includes works by Farah Ossouli, Alee Rafiee, Abolfazl Harouni, Afsaneh Moradi, Shohreh Haghighi, Saleh Kazemi, Samaneh Motallebi, Sogol Kashani, Dorna Abyak & Niyaz Azadikhah, Leila Ghandchi, Shima Esfandiari, Abolfazl Arabbeigi, Saba Manouchehri, Negar Farajiani, Abbas Shahsavar & Maryam Aeen, Mehdi Vazirpour, and Elham Pourkhani. Most works were created specifically for this exhibition, with a special focus on the cypress motif. The exhibition statement draws on Iranian literature and mythology, describing the cypress as eternal and immortal, capable of regenerating after destruction.
