Curatorial School Exhibition in Venice Explores Sebald's 'Vertigo'

The exhibition 'All’estero & Dr. K. Takes the Waters at Riva: Version A' opened at A plus A gallery in Venice, conceived by participants of the School for Curatorial Studies Venice under curator Saim Demircan. The show draws from the second and third chapters of W.G. Sebald's novel 'Vertigo', which intertwine a journey from Vienna to Venice with Kafka's narrative. Works by Sophie Reinhold, Whitney Claflin, Nick Mauss, Miriam Yammad, Rochelle Goldberg, Mark Van Yetter, and Stephan Dillemuth explore the blurring of reality and fiction, with most pieces created specifically for the exhibition.
