Curator Mike Watson on art and class at Rome's ESC Atelier

On May 23 at 7 PM, British curator Mike Watson, who resides in Rome, will host "Sarà un selfie che vi seppellirà?" at ESC Atelier. This gathering will showcase artistic project presentations, video screenings, live discussions, and VJ performances, all centered on the theme of social class within contemporary art. Watson's exploration highlights the exclusion of the working class and immigrants from the art world. The series began in November at Fondazione Pastificio Cerere, with the third event scheduled for June 16 in London at Antiuniversity Now. This San Lorenzo event wraps up a conference organized by John Cabot University and Roma Tre University, featuring various artists and speakers, including Geert Lovink and Jodi Dean.
