Cuneo Provincia Futura: 10 immersive installations across 4 Piedmont cities

exhibition · 2026-04-27

Alessandro Marrazzo, director and lighting designer, created Cuneo Provincia Futura, a videomapping project featuring 10 artistic installations—including videoprojections and 3D sets—on view until November 21 in Cuneo, Alba, Bra, and Mondovì. The project is promoted by Fondazione CRC, whose Vice President Ezio Raviola stated it aims to reflect on major changes and revive the emotion of live events post-pandemic. In Cuneo, six installations include a small robot on Palazzo Vitale, a flooded piazza for glacier melt, holograms on immortality in Piazza Virginio, deforestation imagery in Santa Croce courtyard, endangered animals on tree canopies in Piazza Europa, and a 3,000-square-meter laser mapping on AI and the fourth industrial revolution in Piazza Galimberti. In Alba, Piazza Risorgimento features projections comparing human and machine art on the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, while Piazza Ferrero reflects on the future. In Bra, Palazzo Garrone hosts a videomapping on space exploration from Galileo to Mars. In Mondovì, a 3D projection on the Torre Civica del Belvedere explores time.
