Culturability Awards 50,000 Euros Each to Five Cultural Projects

The Fondazione Unipolis has awarded 50,000 euros each to five projects selected through its Culturability call, aimed at regenerating abandoned or underused spaces with high social impact. Over 500 applications were received, with 15 finalists undergoing a training phase by Fondazione Fitzcarraldo and Avanzi/Make a Cube³. The winners include CasciNet in Milan, which revitalizes Cascina Sant'Ambrogio with coworking and initiatives for migrants and disabled; CasermArcheologica and Art Sweet Art in Arezzo and San Sepolcro, transforming a former barracks into a contemporary art center with artist residencies; Hostello delle Idee in Terni and Rieti, offering low-cost hospitality and urban regeneration schools; LAB+ in Padua, focusing on Piazza Gasparotto with coworking, urban garden, and cultural hub; and MUFANT in Turin, a museum of fantasy and science fiction opening its library. The mentoring phase continues for the winners.
