CSWADI's Main Pavilion for 2024 Chengdu Horticultural Expo Opens
The Main Pavilion for the 2024 International Horticultural Exhibition in Chengdu has been officially completed. Covering an area of 23,393 square meters, this state-of-the-art facility is situated in the Chengdu Eastern New Area and will host key events, including the closing ceremony and international flower competitions. Post-expo, it will transition into a cultural hub for local residents. The design merges contemporary architecture with Sichuan's rich heritage, led by architects Qian Fang and Xiao Bo among others. The project was commissioned by Chengdu Horticultural Expo Operation and Development Co., Ltd., with construction handled by China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau Southwest.
