Crystal Bridges 114,000 sq. ft. expansion opens June 6–7
On June 6 and 7, the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas, will unveil its 114,000-square-foot expansion, crafted by Safdie Architects. This addition includes two new art galleries, featuring a spacious temporary exhibition area equipped with a custom skylight system. Additionally, it will house a creative learning Hub that comprises educational facilities, studios for artists-in-residence, a digital art studio, a ceramics studio, and various artmaking spaces. The initiative seeks to broaden access to five centuries of American art while improving visitor engagement with the museum's architecture.
