Crowdfunding for La Serpara's 20th anniversary book

publication · 2026-05-05

A new crowdfunding initiative has been initiated to produce a book marking the 20th anniversary of La Serpara, an outdoor sculpture park located in Civitella d'Agliano, Italy. Established in 1997 by Swiss artist Paul Wiedmer, the park showcases works from various international resident artists, including Pasquale Altieri, Thomas Baumgärtel, and Kurt Sommer, among others. Curated by Marco Trulli and featuring photography by Francesco Galli, the book will be available in Italian, English, and German through Kehrer Verlag, following the first catalog released a decade ago. The campaign on Produzioni dal Basso will continue until April 30, 2017, offering rewards like discounted books and limited-edition prints, with the book anticipated by May 2017 and a launch event planned for the first weekend of June.
