exhibition · 2026-04-27

On April 3, 2026, Cristian Chironi's exhibition titled 'My house is a Le Corbusier (Villa Baizeau)' debuted at La Boîte – Centre d’Art & d’Architecture in Tunis, where it will remain on display until June 17, 2026. This seventh installment of a project initiated in 2015 encompasses twelve countries and is organized by La Boîte in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Tunis and the Italian Embassy, with backing from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. This event marks 70 years of diplomatic ties between Tunisia and Switzerland. Chironi resided in the Medina from January 22 to April 5, 2026, drawing comparisons to Villa Baizeau, Le Corbusier's sole African creation. The exhibition showcases photographs, videos, and sculptures, including 'Carthage Drive,' featuring a Fiat 127 Special.
