Cristian Chironi's Camaleonte car returns to Orani, driven by locals
On September 6, Cristian Chironi's Fiat 127 Special, affectionately dubbed Camaleonte, will make its way back to Orani, Sardinia, as part of his ongoing initiative, My House is a Le Corbusier. Unlike earlier appearances in Milan and Bologna, where he drove, local residents will take the wheel this time. The vehicle adapts its color to reflect the nearby Le Corbusier structures. In Milan, it documented urban transformations around Fondazione Prada with insights from passengers, facilitated by FOG Triennale Performing Arts and Fondazione ICA. During its Bologna visit, co-pilots Barbara Casavecchia and Giacinto di Pietrantonio engaged in discussions about mobility and borders. This project is inspired by artist Costantino Nivola's story involving his nephew Daniele and a Fiat 127 from Tuscany. In Orani, 30-minute tours will commence at Chiesa di Nostra Signora d'Itria, featuring audio pieces from various artists. Reservations can be made via phone or WhatsApp.
