Crisa's 'Effimero' Exhibition at Galleria Macca in Cagliari

exhibition · 2026-04-27

Street artist Crisa (born 1984 in Cagliari) presents 'Effimero,' a solo exhibition at Galleria Macca in Cagliari, curated by Efisio Carbone. The show explores environmental themes through two-dimensional abstract images, simple materials, small canvases, papers, and ceramics. A site-specific black-and-white mural depicts a contemporary 'Lascaux cave' showing crumbling walls, antennas, dilapidated houses, power lines, washing machines, landfills, barbed wire, endangered animals, sparse vegetation, and human writings—but never humans themselves. The work addresses social precariousness and eco-environmental change with emotional force. Additional paintings feature new vegetation, and refined ceramics with sgraffito technique were created in collaboration with ceramist Salvatore Farci.
