Cripta747 Opens Second Space in Turin with Time-Based Programming
Cripta747, a non-profit established in 2008 by curators Elisa Troiano, Alessandro Tripodi, and artist Renato Leotta, has inaugurated a second location in Turin at the intersection of via Giolitti and via Accademia Albertina, with its official launch set for March 2025. The new space features street-facing windows, a black interior design, and a bar for multimedia events. During Turin Art Week, two projects were presented: 'The Unpaired Eye' by Lee Fraser and Federico Pozuelo, along with 'i hate texting i just want to hold your hand show' by Heith & Visio, participants in the Cripta747 Residency Programme 2024. Since its founding, Cripta747 has emphasized research and has been running a residency program since 2017, now in its eighth edition.
