Crescent City Auction Gallery hosts eclectic New Orleans estate sale with Land Rover, Megatron, and Robert E. Lee bust

On May 7th and 8th, Crescent City Auction Gallery will host its Important Estates Auction, showcasing a diverse array of items sourced from New Orleans collections. Among the anticipated highlights are a custom 1986 Land Rover Defender, a patinated bronze bust of Robert E. Lee by Henry Merwin Shrady, and a sizable iron Megatron Transformer figure crafted by Kalifano. The auction will take place at 1330 St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans, commencing at 10 a.m. Central time each day, with bidding available both online and in-person. The sale will also feature furniture from French, English, and American styles, along with original artworks, sculptures, carpets, and decorative pieces. Estates include contributions from local antiquarians and renowned hotelier Joe Jaeger, Jr.
