Cremona Art Fair 2026: Fourth Edition Expands with International Galleries and Curated Sections

The fourth edition of Cremona Art Fair will take place from May 8 to 10, 2026, at CremonaFiere's Padiglione 2, moving to a larger space. The fair hosts 65 participants including galleries, publishers, and institutions. The Main Section features 42 galleries, with eight from six countries, marking increased international presence. Highlights include Prototip gallery's focus on the Slovenian collective Gruppo OHO (1966–1971) and a retrospective on Italian artist Aligi Sassu. The Art Projects section presents solo shows and curatorial projects for emerging and mid-career artists. The Editor section gathers 15 independent publishers and artist book producers. The Public Programme includes Art Advisor on Demand (free consultations), the Premio Prospettive acquisition prize sponsored by collector Angelo Di Bartolomeo, and Stanza d'ascolto, a sound installation curated by Michele Lombardelli. Talks address art-business relationships and patronage. Collaboration with ARA – Art Run Agency aims to attract international collectors. The fair emphasizes a balance between commercial and cultural dimensions, with a free shuttle service from via Giovanni Maria Platina every 40 minutes on Friday and Saturday.
