Creative Growth Holiday Show Returns with Online Sales

exhibition · 2026-04-28

After a two-year pause due to the pandemic, Creative Growth, a nonprofit established in Oakland in 1974 to support artists with developmental disabilities, is hosting its annual Holiday Show in person once again. This year’s event showcases more than 140 artists presenting a variety of works, including textiles, furniture, ceramics, rugs, woodwork, drawings, paintings, and prints, with proceeds going directly to the artists. For the first time, items can also be purchased online for those outside the local area. Featured artists include Dan Miller, Aurie Ramirez, Raydell Early, and Ying Ge Zhou. Additionally, Gallery Manager Nadia Ghani revealed two holiday window displays featuring Jo Beal, Lateefa Noorzai, and John Martin, along with the launch of the Dear Volcano poetry chapbook.
