Cracco's Milan restaurant opens art gallery with Patrick Tuttofuoco
Chef Carlo Cracco's new five-story restaurant in Milan's Galleria Vittorio Emanuele has expanded into contemporary art with Galleria Cracco by Sky Arte, launching April 13. The project, developed with communication agency Paridevitale and Sky Arte HD, will feature site-specific interventions by Italian contemporary artists three times a year in the lunettes above the restaurant's windows. The inaugural work is Heterochromic (Rosa e Carlo) by Patrick Tuttofuoco, transforming two lunettes into eyes representing Cracco and his partner Rosa Fanti, exploring identity and fusion. The public art is visible 24/7 from the Galleria, with each installation lasting about four months.
