Covivio Integrates Contemporary Art into Real Estate Projects Across Europe

Covivio, a European real estate group, has been integrating contemporary art into its office and residential buildings since 2017 through its 'One building, one piece of art' program. In Italy, the initiative began in 2021 with works by bn+BRINANOVARA, Pamela Diamante, and Lorenza Longhi in Milan. The latest project is a site-specific installation by Pietro Giromini for the Meridian building in Milanofiori, selected via a call with Fondazione Michele Cea ETS. The 90-meter corridor artwork symbolizes connection and collaboration. Covivio's art strategy aims to transform spaces into cultural hubs, enhancing well-being and community engagement. Collaborations include Fondazione Libellula for a red bench against gender violence and partnerships with third-sector organizations. In France, the European HQ in Paris features a mural by Vincent Breed using recycled bricks. In Germany, an inclusive residential building in Oberhausen hosts artworks with Lebenshilfe. Future plans include supporting festivals and producing more site-specific works.
