Cosmoscow 2018 unveils expanded program with new sections and international galleries

The sixth Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair will take place from September 6 to 9 at Moscow's Gostiny Dvor. Over 70 galleries from Russia and abroad will participate across various sections. New curated areas include Editions for prints and multiples, Design led by Kristina Krasnyanskaya of Heritage Gallery, and Frame co-curated by Elena Selina and Olga Temnikova. Focus will highlight Belgian galleries like Tatjana Pieters Gallery and NK Gallery. Past Present, curated by Selina, features established Russian modern and contemporary artists. Projects invites galleries to present large-scale works. The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts will show a new media art collection as the 2018 Museum Partner. Artist projects by Taus Makhacheva, named Cosmoscow Artist of the Year 2018, and Alexey Martins will be presented. The Credit Suisse Cosmoscow Prize for Young Artists returns for its third edition, offering a CHF 3,000 grant, mentorship, and an art trip to Switzerland to a Russian artist under 35, with the winner announced at the fair's opening. Participating galleries include Fragment Gallery, Lazy Mike, Marina Gisich Gallery, Pop/off/art Gallery, Triangle Gallery, Temnikova & Kasela Gallery, LOCUS, Art Select, Raster Gallery, and Dawid Radziszewski Gallery.
