Corriere della Sera Launches Competition to Redesign Newsstands for the 21st Century

There's a new competition called L’Edicola del Futuro aimed at rethinking the Italian newsstand, which is facing tough competition from digital outlets and changing consumer habits. Launched by Nemo Monti, who runs a communications agency, the event is partnered with Corriere della Sera and curated by Luca Molinari Studio. Seven talented designers and architects are involved, including EMBT led by Benedetta Tagliabue, Matali Crasset, and others. The jury, which is headed by architect Mario Bellini, includes prominent names like Molinari, Monti, and Barbara Stefanelli from Corriere. The top design will be realized in Milan's Brera area at Piazza XXV Aprile, showcased during Milan Design Week from April 20 to 26, 2020.
