Corn79 and Mrfijodor Create Environmental Murals in Turin

Street artists Corn79 and Mrfijodor, members of the Associazione Il Cerchio E le Gocce, have completed two new murals in Turin. One adorns the exterior walls of the Museo A Come Ambiente (MAcA), Europe's first museum entirely dedicated to environmental themes. The mural addresses recycling, circular economy, water, and energy. The second intervention is located at the Territorial Command of the Municipal Police in corso Umbria, in the Parella district, and explores the human-nature relationship, balancing massive exploitation and blind unawareness. Both works are set in the post-industrial Parco Dora area, reinforcing the dialogue with the territory and its identity. The project continues the tradition of MurArte, launched in 1999 by the Youth Policy Service of the Municipality of Turin, which aims to revitalize urban areas through creativity and social participation. The murals highlight the fragile balance of ecosystems, made more evident by the pandemic, and are situated near the Amedeo di Savoia hospital complex dedicated to infectious diseases.
