Copernico Hub Network Launches Year-Long Art Project Across Four Italian Cities
Copernico, the Italian co-working platform, is expanding its art program with a year-long project titled 'Parole faccio Arte' starting January 30, 2018. The initiative will feature solo exhibitions by artists Giorgio Milani, Sabrina D'Alessandro, and Opiemme across four Copernico locations in Milan, Turin, and Rome. The project explores the power of language in visual art. Copernico, founded in February 2015 with its Milan Central space, now manages 12 buildings in Italy and abroad, totaling 55,000 square meters with over 4,000 daily users. Since 2016, its Art Basement has hosted Whitelight Art Gallery, founded by Giorgia Sarti and Marta Menegon. The artistic program is curated by Sarti in collaboration with collector Guido Galimberti. The first collective exhibition at Whitelight Art Gallery runs until December 21, 2018, followed by rotating solo shows starting February 7 with Milani's 'poetari'.
