Converging Trajectories: Spalletti, De Dominicis, West at Vistamare Milan

The gallery Vistamare in Milan presents 'Converging Trajectories', a three-artist exhibition juxtaposing Ettore Spalletti, Gino De Dominicis, and Franz West. The show, curated by Maria Elena Morselli, explores the intersecting paths of these artists who first crossed in Pescara, Spalletti's hometown. The exhibition is structured around a central room featuring four works by Spalletti, including his 'Trittico azzurro', which creates a perceptual field through its blue surface. To the right, Spalletti's rarefied blue works confront West's material, ironic forms that assert bodily presence. To the left, Spalletti dialogues with De Dominicis, whose piece 'Equilibrio'—made of brass, iron, and magnet—embodies a precarious stability through invisible forces. Some works come from the collection of Benedetta Spalletti's father, a lawyer and friend of collectors and artists, linking the exhibition to personal history. The show runs at Vistamare's Milan location, transforming the space into a dynamic system of calibrated coexistence rather than fusion.
