ContestaRockHair opens temporary hub in Rome's The Yellow hostel
ContestaRockHair, a hair salon brand from Rome established by Alessandro Santopaolo and Massimo Bianco, has teamed up with Fabio and Marco Coppola, the creators of The Yellow hostel, to launch a temporary creative space within the hostel located near Termini Station in the Esquilino district. This six-month pop-up, commencing on December 1 in partnership with LILA for World AIDS Day, will provide haircuts and styling services alongside art events and musical performances. Since its inception in 1996, Contesta has been known for merging fashion with underground creativity. The brand operates in various locations, including Italy, the United States (Miami and New York), and Shanghai. To enrich the hostel experience, six under-28 Roman ambassadors—bloggers and trendsetters—will develop a unique digital map of the city, featuring personalized itineraries tailored to their interests.
