Contemporary Chaos at Vestfossen KunstLaboratorium

Curated by Demetrio Paparoni, the exhibition "Contemporary Chaos" at Vestfossen KunstLaboratorium in Norway features over sixty international artists, with a strong Italian presence. The show runs from May 5 to September 23, 2018, in a former cellulose factory. Paparoni describes it as a "sentimental" exhibition, contrasting with his previous scientific show at Fondazione Stelline. The theme addresses the difficulty of navigating contemporary society's languages after the telematic revolution, allowing him freedom in selection. Artists come from around the world, including previously peripheral regions, highlighting the multiplication of art centers. The exhibition includes paintings, photographs, videos, performances, and large installations across four floors.
