Consumer Reports has released its evaluation of double strollers, covering side-by-side, convertible, and car-seat-carrier models. The top-rated side-by-side option is the Bob Gear Revolution Flex 3.0 Duallie, priced at $800, which excels in safety and ride smoothness due to air-filled tires, but is heavy at 33 pounds and requires a separate car seat adapter. Among convertible strollers, the Chicco BravoFor2 ($380) is recommended for its affordability and features like a five-point harness up front and a three-point harness on the rear youth seat, though it struggles with curbs and has a large folded footprint. The UPPAbaby Vista V3 with RumbleSeat V3 ($1,340) is praised for its expandability to accommodate up to three children, excellent maneuverability, and magnetic buckle, but it requires two hands to fold and becomes bulkier with the RumbleSeat. The Bugaboo Kangaroo with Sibling Seat ($1,398) offers up to 20 seating configurations and performed nearly flawlessly, though it becomes heavier with the sibling seat and has a large folded size. For car seat carriers, the Baby Trend Snap-N-Go Double ($120) is the most affordable, lightweight at 18 pounds, and fits Disney theme park size requirements, but lacks an adjustable handlebar and one-handed folding.
