Connie Rogers Named Featured Artist by Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery has selected Connie Rogers as its new featured artist for a 14-day showcase. Rogers, an award-winning self-taught photographer and acrylic artist based in Florida, was chosen as one of twelve finalists in the gallery's 32nd Solo Art Exhibition Series. Her work will be promoted to hundreds of major news outlets and across the gallery's social media networks. The showcase includes her artist biography, statement, and five mixed-media artworks combining photography with oil, acrylic, and digital painting. Rogers' imagery originates from travels in Colorado, New York, Georgia, California, and the Mediterranean region of France. She begins with photography, capturing atmospheric and motion-filled scenes, then refines them digitally before sometimes adding acrylic paint over photo prints on paper. Her influences include Ansel Adams and Wyland. The feature aims to provide exposure for her work, which explores themes of nature, movement, and quiet connection.
