Conformazioni Festival Concludes Sixth Edition in Palermo with Dance and Performance

The sixth edition of the Conformazioni festival in Palermo, overseen by Giuseppe Muscarello, has wrapped up, integrating into the city's urban landscape to showcase its artistic legacy. The event emphasized modern performance art, fostering intergenerational dialogue and skill development, in response to the scarcity of specialized institutions in Southern Italy. Notable choreographers included Daniele Ninarello with 'Perpendicolare', Manfredi Perego's 'Totemica', Giovanna Velardi's 'Pubblico site specific', and Muscarello's own 'Il furioso'. The festival's second weekend featured a discussion titled 'Altri tempi' and celebrated award-winning pieces like MK's 'Bermudas'. Additionally, Enzo Cosimi's 'Bastard Sunday', honoring Pier Paolo Pasolini, was restaged, showcasing Alice Raffaelli and Luca Della Corte, with sound by Robert Lippok and lighting by Gianni Staropoli.
