Concetto Pozzati's Bologna studio now available on Airbnb

The studio of Concetto Pozzati, a major 20th-century Italian painter, has been listed on Airbnb by his son Jacopo Pozzati. Located in Bologna's historic Jewish Ghetto, the 110-square-meter loft served as Pozzati's workspace until his death in 2017. The listing, titled 'A Casa del Maestro,' features original artworks, photographs, books, and personal objects. Pozzati participated in five Venice Biennales (first in 1964), documenta in Kassel, and taught at art academies in Urbino and Venice. He served as Bologna's culture assessor from 1993 to 1996 and directed the Casa di Mantegna in Mantua in 1998. The first guest, Andrea, praised the space for preserving the artist's soul. The initiative raises questions about institutional preservation of artists' homes.
