Compasso d'Oro International Edition Awards at Expo 2025 Osaka

The Compasso d'Oro International Edition, associated with Expo 2025 Osaka, recognized 20 projects and granted 35 Honorable Mentions, showcased at the Italy Pavilion designed by Mario Cucinella until October 13. Centered around the theme 'Designing Future Society for Our Lives,' the awards featured categories such as Saving Lives, Empowering Lives, and Connecting Lives. This marks the third international edition, following those in 2015 and 2017, and is open to designers and companies worldwide. ADI President Luciano Galimberti highlighted the importance of promoting dialogue in design. Among the notable winners are Giorgia Lupi's '1.347 days – My life with long Covid' (USA), Caimi Brevetti's 'A + E Technology' (Italy), and Shenzhen Jamr's 'Mom's Hug' (China). The jury observed emerging trends in health, sustainability, circularity, and AI integration.
