Colossal videomapping by Onionlab on Eni building in Rome for Videocittà
A colossal videomapping experiment is taking place in Rome on the Eni building in the EUR district. The creative crew Onionlab, based in Barcelona, is projecting their new work 'Paradoxa' in a world premiere for three nights until Sunday, October 20, starting at 9 PM. The event is part of the Videocittà – Festival della Visione, conceived by Francesco Rutelli and curated by Francesco Dobrovich. The videomapping format Solid Light will continue in subsequent days at other locations, including the historic center and the Guido Reni District opposite the Maxxi museum. Rutelli noted the impact on a child who exclaimed 'wow' when the installation first lit up. Further projections are scheduled for the weekend of October 25-27, when Solid Light, created by Lazy Film, will challenge historic facades including the Pantheon.
