Collector R Parmar Launches Free Boutique Fair ENZO in Los Angeles

During Frieze Los Angeles Art Week, a new boutique art fair called ENZO will debut, fully funded by collector R Parmar to eliminate participation costs for exhibitors and admission fees for visitors. The fair invites nine emerging galleries from New York's Chinatown and Lower East Side—Alyssa Davis, Bank, ILY2, Laurel Gitlen, Magenta Plains, Margot Samel, Sara's Worldwide, Silke Lindner, and WSCHÓD—to showcase their artists across 400+ square meters at a former 1920s warehouse in Echo Park (1634 W Temple Street), currently home to Alabaster Projects, a hybrid project space and gallery. ENZO runs from February 25 to 28, 2026, coinciding with Frieze Los Angeles, Post Fair, and Felix Art Fair. The initiative aims to support fragile gallery economies amid widespread closures, providing young New York galleries visibility on the West Coast without financial burden. The fair's name playfully references Italy, but its focus is squarely on economic sustainability and opportunities within the American art system.
