Collective exhibition 'Segni DiVini' opens at Villa Del Bene in Valdadige

exhibition · 2026-04-27

The collective exhibition 'Segni DiVini' has opened at Villa Del Bene in Volargne, Valdadige, featuring over 30 international artists in dialogue with the local wine-producing territory. The works, primarily graphics, engravings, and photographs, come from the LOME collection (Lorenzo Menguzzato) and include renowned artists such as Beuys, Christo, Penck, and Ben Vautier. A substantial section is dedicated to Italian avant-garde movements of the 1950s and 1960s, with geometric-perceptual research by Dadamaino, Crippa, Chiari, Lora Totino, Turcato, Dova, Dorazio, and others. The top floor hosts works by Venetian artists on the theme of women's condition in contemporary society. Villa Del Bene, a Renaissance villa purchased in 1538 by the Del Bene family from Rovereto, features a monumental entrance attributed to architect Michele Sanmicheli and 16th-century frescoes by Veronese masters depicting landscapes, religious scenes, and poets. It is the only Venetian villa owned by the state. The Valdadige area, also known as the Land of Forts, contains remnants of Austrian military fortifications along the Adige River, part of the 'Line of the Alps' defensive system, offering views from the Dolomites to vineyard landscapes. The region offers cycling and kayaking routes, including a 98-kilometer cycle path connecting Bolzano to Verona.
