Collective Exhibition 'Obscura Luz' Explores Light and Shadow at Galeria Luisa Strina

At Galeria Luisa Strina in São Paulo, the exhibition 'Obscura Luz' features a selection of artworks from the gallery's collection that focus on the theme of light, curated by Kiki Mazzucchelli. The show draws inspiration from Cildo Meireles's 1982 work, examining luminosity through diverse pieces. Upon entering, guests will find small-format artworks, including one by Enorê, an artist based in London. The main gallery showcases a painting by Fernanda Gomes and a sculpture by Anna Maria Maiolino, both reflecting on light and shadow. Laura Lima's installation fosters a serene atmosphere, while Alexandre da Cunha's 'Sound I' (2016) encourages viewer interaction. Other participating artists are Tonico Lemos, Tracey Moffatt, Camila Sposati, Ingeborg de Beausacq, and Luiz Paulo Baravelli. This exhibition is open until September 3, 2022, from Monday to Friday, 10 am to 7 pm, and Saturdays, 10 am to 5 pm.
