Collectible Design Fair Debuts in New York During Armory Show Art Week

festival-fair · 2026-04-26

The inaugural Belgian design fair, Collectible, is set to take place in New York from September 5 to 8, 2024, with a VIP preview scheduled for September 4 at the Water Street Associates Building. Under the direction of Emily Marant, the event coincides with the Armory Show and includes six curated sections by Sonya Tamaddon. Focused on 21st-century design, Collectible aims to create a space for modern collectors. Founders Clélie Debehault and Liv Vaisberg assert that New York is a prime location for both European and American designers. The fair will span two floors designed by Volfram and will feature sections such as Main Section, Dialogue, New Garde, Bespoke, Outdoor, and a new Fashion section. The Armory Show, celebrating its 30th anniversary, will occur from September 6 to 8 with 235 galleries participating. Photofairs New York will not be held in 2024.
