Collagistas Festival, the international analog collage meeting, lands in Milan for the first time
The fourth edition of Collagistas Festival, an international meeting dedicated to analog collage, will take place in Milan from September 22 to 29 at Stecca 3.0 in the Isola district. Founded in 2014 in Berlin by two collage artists, the festival aims to bring together collage artists from around the world for in-person meetings, workshops, and exhibitions. Previous editions were held in Berlin (2014), Thessaloniki (2015), and Eindhoven (2016). The Milan edition features 51 artists from 20 countries, including Greece, Germany, Brazil, Netherlands, Israel, UK, Canada, Australia, Argentina, Slovenia, Spain, USA, Finland, Poland, France, Chile, Belgium, Ireland, South Korea, Russia, and Italy. Each artist will present a single new work on the theme 'Beautiful Monsters'. The festival includes workshops, publication presentations, and performances. Organizers Walter Paganuzzi and Silvia Testa (TeatroBalocco) collaborate with the international team. The event is free and open to the public.
