Coldplay Release 'Tutto Passa' Video Tribute to Naples

Coldplay have released a video tribute to Naples titled 'Tutto Passa – A tribute to Napoli by Coldplay' on their YouTube channel, celebrating the city's culture and their two concerts at Stadio Maradona on June 21-22, 2023. Directed by STILLZ, the video features local resident Antonio Ventre, who has the phrase 'Tutto Passa' tattooed on his chest, a motto he adopted after losing his son and wife in the 1980s. The clip intercuts live performances from the Music of The Spheres World Tour, including a rendition of Pino Daniele's 'Napule è', with scenes of Neapolitan daily life. Patrick Golan, who worked on the project, stated that the band chose Naples for this unique tribute because Chris Martin loves the city. The video was released as Coldplay prepare to return to Italy for four shows at Rome's Stadio Olimpico on July 12-16, 2024, their only Italian dates this year.
