Cognizant and Anthropic expand partnership to bring Claude AI to enterprises

Cognizant and Anthropic are enhancing their collaboration to integrate Claude AI into enterprise systems. As a global technology services provider, Cognizant plans to incorporate Claude into its platforms, including Flowsource, Neuro AI Engineering, and Neuro IT Ops, while developing a Claude-certified workforce through its Frontier Certified initiative. More than 30,000 Cognizant employees have undergone Claude training. The firm is already utilizing Claude for various clients, such as a customer experience portal for a global manufacturer completed in six months, a contract-intelligence system for a biopharmaceutical company that cuts review time by 40% and improves extraction accuracy to over 88%, and a risk-navigation tool that saves underwriters eight hours weekly. Cognizant is now a Global Premier Partner in the Claude Partner Network. Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar S emphasized that AI capabilities are evolving more rapidly than businesses can manage, and their mission is to bridge that divide. Anthropic Co-Founder and President Daniela Amodei remarked that this partnership will assist companies in effectively implementing AI in challenging sectors like manufacturing and life sciences. Additionally, the announcement unveils Claude Opus 5, a significant upgrade for long-running agents, and outlines a research agenda for the Economic Futures Research Fund.
