Coen Brothers to Make TV Debut with Western Miniseries

Joel and Ethan Coen are entering television for the first time with a miniseries titled The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. The project is produced in collaboration with Annapurna Television. Set in the Old West, the series will weave together six distinct stories, reflecting the duo's signature narrative style. The Coens previously explored the Western genre in their film True Grit. They join a growing list of film directors, including Martin Scorsese and David Lynch, who have ventured into television. Specific plot details and a release date have not yet been announced.
