Cloud Seven: coworking space with art collection opens in Brussels

architecture-design · 2026-04-27

In the spring of 2022, Frédéric de Goldschmidt, a French film and television producer, launched Cloud Seven in Brussels. This innovative venue merges coworking, residential living, and a private club, complete with a sauna and gym. Housed in a renovated 1820s structure in the Dansaert district, the 1,500 m² facility encompasses seven floors. It features artist studios, lofts, coworking areas, a screening room, bar, gym, sauna, and apartments, showcasing both emerging talents and notable pieces from the 1960s and 1970s. Membership options are attractively priced, with online subscriptions and day passes. The opening exhibition, titled 'Inaspettatamente,' presents 315 works by 250 artists. De Goldschmidt has been a contemporary art collector since 2008 and is involved in media and film production.
