Claudio Marinaccio's Comic Tour Through MoMA's Masterpieces

Claudio Marinaccio has created a black-and-white comic strip for Artribune that takes readers on a humorous and spontaneous tour through the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. The comic highlights iconic works such as Vincent van Gogh's "The Starry Night," Claude Monet's "Water Lilies," Salvador Dalí's "The Persistence of Memory," Pablo Picasso's "Three Musicians," Andy Warhol's "Campbell's Soup Cans," Umberto Boccioni's Futurist creations, and Marcel Duchamp's readymade "Bicycle Wheel" (1913). MoMA, founded in the late 1920s by Abby Aldrich Rockefeller, Lillie P. Bliss, and Mary Quinn Sullivan, is housed in a building renovated by Japanese architect Yoshio Taniguchi. The museum, directed by Glenn D. Lowry, holds over 150,000 works, including film and multimedia materials.
