Claudia Losi's Poetic Workshop Revives Salento's Craft Traditions

Claudia Losi's solo exhibition 'Tutti i punti che siamo' (All the Stitches We Are) opens at Associazione CON Red Lab in Casamassella, Salento, as part of Caloma Festival promoted by Eccom. The project, developed with Fondazione Le Costantine and CON Red Lab, explores time, memory, and community through textiles and drawings. Losi's practice centers on slow, meditative gestures across sculpture and performance, generating 'animùle'—apophenic figures blending human, animal, and vegetal elements, created by tearing paper in real time. In Salento, her relational works engage local communities, merging her aesthetic with traditional embroidery patterns. At Fondazione Le Costantine, she reinterprets embroidery as musical scores, while at CON Red Lab, embroidered textiles dialogue with a triptych drawing of two deer drinking from a fountain, a familiar motif in Salento homes. The exhibition is curated with critical text by Leonardo Regano and runs until September 30 by appointment.
