Claudia Losi's 'Being There' Exhibition at Hansen House, Jerusalem

Claudia Losi (born 1971, Piacenza) presents 'Being There. Oltre il giardino' at Hansen House Centre of Design, Media and Technology in Jerusalem, running until December 26, 2021. Curated by Leonardo Regano, the exhibition features video, large installations, and environments exploring the ambiguity of landscape, environmental perception, and the blurred boundary between natural and anthropized contexts. The project began in February 2021 with a residency at NTU-Centre for Contemporary Art in Singapore. Supported by Italian Council (a program promoting Italian contemporary art abroad by the Ministry of Culture), the exhibition will travel to Collezione Maramotti in Reggio Emilia for a book launch, CIMeC–Centro Interdipartimentale Mente/Cervello at the University of Trento and Rovereto for scientific research, and Rocca Roveresca of the Direzione Regionale Musei delle Marche for a residency. Concurrently, Losi is producing a large textile tapestry for Rocca Roveresca in Senigallia, created in collaboration with Lottozero textile research center in Prato.
