Clarissa Thieme's Solo Show at Errant Sound Berlin Explores Visual Approaches to Sound

Clarissa Thieme presented a solo exhibition titled "Can’t you see them?" at Errant Sound Berlin in November 2019. This exhibition was part of the "Visual Approach to Sound" series, which invites visual artists to create works that incorporate sound while maintaining visual art methodologies. The series aims to examine sound from a visual art perspective. A podcast conversation between Clarissa Thieme, Jan Verwoert, and Mario Asef was produced in connection with this exhibition. The exhibition featured video 8 footage by Nedim Alikadic, shot in Sarajevo's Grbavica neighborhood on May 2, 1992. The project was developed in collaboration with the Library Hamdija Kresevljakovic Video Arhiv in Sarajevo. This exhibition was the second installment in the ongoing "Visual Approach to Sound" series. The podcast was published by ARTMargins Online in February 2020.
