Claire Danes voices Georgia O'Keeffe documentary premiering digitally in June

Claire Danes provides the voice for Georgia O'Keeffe in a new documentary about the American Modernist painter. The film, titled Georgia O'Keeffe: The Brightness of Light, will be available digitally on June 1st. Directed by Paul Wagner and Ellen Casey Wagner, the production includes interviews with O'Keeffe scholars Sarah Greenough, Cody Hartley, and Agapita Judy Lopez. Hugh Dancy narrates the documentary, which will have select theatrical screenings on May 10th. The filmmakers have previously won Academy Awards and Emmys for their independent work. Greenough serves as senior curator at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., while Hartley directs the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum. Lopez worked closely with O'Keeffe in her studio before joining the museum as a projects director. O'Keeffe is recognized as a foundational figure in American Modernism.
