Claes Oldenburg's Iconic Floor Burger Sculpture from 1962

Claes Oldenburg created his monumental sculpture Floor Burger in 1962. The work measures 52 by 84 inches and was constructed using acrylic on canvas filled with foam rubber and cardboard boxes. Originally titled Giant Hamburger, this piece was first exhibited at New York's Green Gallery during that same year. The Art Gallery of Ontario now holds this significant artwork in its collection.
